    Music and creativity run deep in pianist and bandleader Eddie Moore's veins. Raised in Houston Texas, he began his musical journey at Texas Southern University where he later earned a Bachelors in Arts and immersed himself in the Houston music scene.  As a lifelong musician traversing a number of bands and styles  he relocated to Kansas City to study under Bobby Watson  at the University of Missouri-Kansas City where he received a M.A in Jazz Studies.

After forming Jazz/Fusion group Eddie Moore & The Outer Circle in 2012, diversity and inclusiveness have become to define Moore as an artist. His debut album,"The Freedom of Expression", was given 3.5 stars from Downbeat jazz magazine who has stated  "Moore's compositions exude a sophisticated soulful elegance that create a tastefully fulfilling venture into a range of dynamic pieces, with the musicianship to match.” 

A creative visionary Moore enjoys the intersections between performing and visual arts. As curator of the multi-media series ProdoLab. He created an experimental platform in partnership with Charlotte Street that pairs time-based artists, producers and musicians. Showcasing artists that are at the tip of the spear, like David Overholt, Alexis Borth, Alyssa Murray, Justus West, Clark Wyatt, Flare the Rebel, Syke Style, and more.

  Moore is also recipient of the 2016 Charlotte Street Generative Performance Award for his genre bending collaborations. He is 2017’s Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art “Artist in Residence” in collaboration with Rashid Johnson’s exhibit “Antoine’s Organ”. His music has also been featured commercially for Sprint, Netflix’s “Queer Eye”, Morgan Cooper’s short film “Room Tone”, and Peacock’s “Bel-Air”.

Moore’s  expansive sensibilities have allowed him to share the stage and record with distinctive artist such as Tia Fuller, Pam, Watson, Logan Richardson, Maurice Brown, Boys II Men, Brian Blade and the Fellowship, John Baptiste, Erykah Badu, Mosdef, Bilal, Ledisi, Chantae Cann, Krystal Warren, Andre Hayward, Tivon Pennicott, and Various Blonde.

 With a passion for teaching Moore is a Jazz Lecturer at the University of Kansas, bringing a fresh perspective in keyboard to the next generation of music artist, and practitioners.  Always looking to uplift the next generation Moore created a pilot Incubator, Tribe Studios. Tribe programed master classes, music business meet-ups, as well as providing creative/maker space for musicians and visual artists. This endeavor gave an unrestricted creative lane to several of KC’s top up and coming musicians. As an Artist INC facilitator Moore is an integral part of the music community in Kansas City, as well as an advocate for change and resources for professional artists.
